Trip to Christie's Auction House

The Year 9 Harris Experience Cohort enjoyed a fantastic trip to Christie's in central London.

Nine students took part in an exciting behind-the-scenes experience at the world-famous auction house, where they learned about the history and purpose of Christie's, as well as some of the remarkable sales that have taken place there over the years.

They also had the opportunity to curate their own mini art galleries, choosing individual themes and designs to showcase their creativity.

The Merton students produced some outstanding work and demonstrated excellent confidence when presenting and discussing their ideas with the wider group.

Upcoming Trip to Harris Academy Falconwood

The cohort's next trip will take them to Harris Academy Falconwood, where they will showcase their own artwork inspired by the theme 'The Natural World', in celebration of David Attenborough's 100th birthday.

This event will provide a wonderful opportunity for the students to share their creativity and talents with the wider community.
