Rewards & Recognition
We believe in celebrating success and recognising the effort, commitment and character our students show every day.
Our rewards system is designed to promote a culture of excellence, ambition, resilience and integrity across the Academy. We are proud to recognise not only academic achievement and progress, but also positive behaviour, attendance, and contributions to our community.
Celebrating Positive Behaviour
A culture of encouragement is central to life at Harris Academy Merton. Students are rewarded through a system of positive behaviour points, which recognise:

- Consistent positive behaviour
- Demonstration of our character values
- Contributions to the wider academy community
These achievements are celebrated regularly at both individual and faculty level, reinforcing high expectations and positive habits.

- Student of the Year (by faculty and year group)
- Other awards for outstanding achievement (e.g. Duke of Edinburgh, Maths Challenges, Jack Petchy)
