Alongside our Personal Development enrichment programme, we offer a wide range of clubs, trips and activities designed to build confidence, develop new skills and provide students with exciting new opportunities.

Sports Clubs and Teams

As part of the PE department, we run a broad and varied sports programme, offering clubs across 10 different sports throughout the academic year. Some clubs are led by external specialist coaches, including table tennis and street dance, providing students with high-quality coaching and specialist expertise.

Please see the full timetable below for details of the sports clubs currently available. All clubs are free to attend and can be joined easily by completing the relevant Microsoft Form or speaking directly to the PE staff member responsible for the club.

For safety and staffing reasons, some clubs may have a maximum number of participants. Unless stated otherwise, clubs run from 2:50pm to 4:00pm.

We also run a wide range of competitive teams across multiple age groups and sports. Currently, both boys’ and girls’ teams represent the school across eight different sports, competing in Merton, Harris, London, Croydon and Surrey competitions.

These opportunities allow students to perform at a high level, develop teamwork and resilience, and represent the school with pride.

Wimbledon Ball Boys/Girls

              Wimbledon Ball Boys & Girls

As part of the Merton borough, we are proud to be involved in the Wimbledon Ball Boys and Girls (BBG) programme. Each year, students in Years 9 and 10 can train and trial to become a Ball Boy or Ball Girl at the world’s most prestigious tennis tournament.

The selection process is highly competitive, but those who are successful gain an unforgettable experience as part of school life. Students have the opportunity to work courtside at Wimbledon, meet professional players and members of the Royal Family, and develop valuable skills such as teamwork, responsibility and resilience – all while earning two weeks away from school to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
