Day Trip to Lille!
Language Skills in Action: Year 9 French Students Excel
Our Year 9 French students recently embarked on a fantastic trip to Lille, where they had the opportunity to put their language skills into practice in real-life situations.
Practicing French in Everyday Life
During their visit to a local bakery, students were able to order treats in French, applying their language skills to a practical scenario. This experience not only helped them build their confidence but also brought their classroom learning to life.

Exploring the City and Beyond
In addition to their visit to the bakery, students also explored the beautiful city of Lille, visited the zoo, and shopped at a French supermarket. These experiences allowed them to immerse themselves in the French culture and practice their language skills in a variety of settings.

Building Confidence and Independence
The trip provided students with the opportunity to speak French in real-life situations, which helped them build their confidence and independence in using the language. This is an essential part of their language learning journey and will undoubtedly benefit them in the long run.
A Big Thank You to Our Students
We would like to extend our congratulations to all our Year 9 French students on their excellent language skills and enthusiasm. Their hard work and dedication to learning are truly inspiring, and we are proud to see them thrive in their language studies.
