End-of-Year Reward Event Celebrates Student Success

The sun was shining as students at Harris Academy Merton enjoyed the seventh and final reward event of the academic year – the annual visit from an ice cream van!

Almost 700 students earned this fantastic end-of-year treat by consistently demonstrating our school’s character values through excellent attendance and positive behaviour throughout the year.

Recognising Student Achievement

Their commitment, effort and dedication have been recognised through a series of rewards events, and this final celebration was a fitting way to round off another successful year.

Students were delighted to collect their ice cream and spend time celebrating with friends. The event created a brilliant atmosphere across the school and was a well-deserved recognition of the high standards shown by so many students.

Looking Ahead to Next Year

As we look ahead to next year, excitement is already building about what rewards might be on offer.

Many students have told us they would love to see favourites such as the inflatable obstacle course, the dodgeball tournament and challenge carousel return.

There have also been plenty of new suggestions to consider as we begin planning next year’s reward programme.
