- Through targeted questioning methods in each lesson
- Through the use of mini whiteboards to check that key concepts are understood
- Through the use of structured peer and self-assessment methods
- With the use of targeted feedback for writing with reference to AQA assessment criteria for extended responses.
- Extended writing from assessment week marked according to the AQA mark scheme and feedback
