Assessment
Students will sit one exam and need to complete 2 units of coursework across the two years. In Year 10 students will complete:
Unit 50: In the Digital World - this unit accesses the students understanding of IT in the digital world. It is an exam unit where students will learn about design and testing concepts for creating an IT solution or product, and the uses of IT in the digital world. This is an exam unit which will be sat at the end of year 11.
Unit 60: This unit is assessed by completing a set assignment. In this unit you will learn how to plan, design, create, test and evaluate a data manipulation spreadsheet solution to meet client’s requirements. Assessment
Assessments / mocks will be written and will follow the same structure as the real exam that are to be sat in May.

Externally Assessed Units (EA)
Students will sit externally assessed exams in Jan/May, following the same format as the real qualification:
Unit F200 – Fundamentals of Data Analytics
The exam includes a mixture of multiple‑choice questions, short‑answer questions and extended‑response questions.
Unit F201 – Big Data and Machine Learning
This exam follows the same structure as F200 but does not include multiple‑choice questions.
Non‑Examined Assessment Units (NEA)
NEA units are set by Cambridge OCR and completed in controlled conditions. Students complete practical assignments that are assessed by the centre and moderated by Cambridge OCR.
NEA units include:
F202 – Spreadsheet Data Modelling
F205 – Data Visualisation
F206 – Data and Digital Marketing
Assignments remain live for two years and include structured tasks, data files and client‑based scenarios.
