Today was GCSE & CNAT Level 2 Results Day for all students across the UK, but nowhere could screams of delight be heard louder than at Harris Academy Merton!

We are delighted with the results of our Year 11 students. They have worked very hard and these results reflect their dedication and determination.

With these results, our students will now be able to continue their educational journey with confidence.

Congratulations from all the staff at Harris Academy Merton and thank you to all of our parents and carers who have continued to support both the Academy and their children to achieve such amazing results.

Highlights included:

• 72% of students achieved GCSE English and maths at grade 4+ 
• Average attainment grade (A8) is set to be well above national average. 
• Grade 9s / Distinctions were achieved by students across 15 subjects 
• 25% of students achieved grade 9s in at least 1 subject.
• 44% of students achieved grade 8s in at least 1 subject.
• 20% of students achieved grades 7-9 in all their GCSEs

• Shahzain Imam who achieved eight Grade 9s and two Distinction * Grades;

• Jemimah Ajrioghene who achieved nine Grade 9s and one Grade 8;

• Mubeen Abdullah who achieved eight Grade 9s and three Grade 8s;

• Thejaswani Tharmapalan who achieved five Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and one Grade 6;

• Ihtesham Rahman who achieved three Grade 9s, six Grade 8s and one Grade 7;

• Ehsan Chowdhury who achieved three Grade 9s, six Grade 8s and one Grade 7;

• Dawud Ahmad who achieved four Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and two Grade 7s
