Assessment:
Students will be assessed on the practical skills they have demonstrated within a sport over a 6 week module. Students are assessed against the practical grading criteria and given a score from 1-5 (1=lowest, 5 = highest). Students will be assessed on the theoretical understanding through question and answer sessions throughout their lesson. They will then complete a multiple choice quiz on Microsoft teams every half term. At the end of every term students will complete a multiple choice quiz as well as a long answer question to test their knowledge, understanding and application. This assessment will be graded on the 1-5 scale as outlined above. Their practical and theory scores are then combined to give an overall grade for the term.
